Our Senior Pastor

David Davis was saved as a child, but did not grow in his personal relationship with Christ until he almost finished high school. At seventeen, he was invited (by his future wife, Silvia) to a local Bible study where the Word of God was being taught as the final authority and relevant to his everyday life. David′s focus on life was completely changed from that time on. A few years later, David and Silvia were married in 1987.

Through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God and the training of a local Bible institute, David grew spiritually and became involved in several ministries including: counseling, discipleship, circuit preaching, and short-term missions. During this time, David worked as a software engineer and they were blessed with three children: Rebecca, Joshua and Caleb.

In 1997, the Lord led David and his family to Panama as missionaries to establish a Biblical ministry there. Their goal was to establish a local church with the Word of God as its final authority, reach people with the gospel of grace, train up the members as soldiers for the Lord, and ultimately establish a pastor′s school to prepare local leadership to take responsibility for the ministry. After seven and a half years, the mission was accomplished and two churches, the Iglesia Bíblica Panamá and the Iglesia Bíblica Colón were the fruit of the ministry in Panama.

In 2005, the Lord led David and his family back to Kansas City to establish a local church here with the Word of God as its final authority.
