Our Vision

The vision of the Kansas City Bible Church can be simply stated as follows:
Prepare the members to participate in ministry to propagate the mission.

This vision is based on Ephesians 4:12, and as you can see, it has three areas of focus. The goal is to prepare every member for the day when we will stand before our Lord at the judgment seat of Christ (I Corinthians 3:11-15) and give an account for everything that was committed to us.

Prepare the Members (for the perfecting of the saints)
We help every member in the church to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the truth of the Word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17). Focusing on your relationship with the Lord is THE highest priority a believer has. Everything we do must be a result of this relationship. Those who live their lives while putting Christ first and foremost will be rewarded at the judgment seat of Christ. (II Timothy 4:8)

Participate in Ministry (for the work of the ministry)
We encourage every member to minister the truths they have received to others. (II Timothy 2:2) Opportunities to do so abound, from giving the gospel to those who are lost, to discipling new believers. Those who are faithful to do so, will receive a reward at the judgment seat of Christ. (I Corinthians 9:18, 24-25)

Propagate the Mission (for the edifying of the body of Christ)
We teach every member to trust the Lord to bring the fruit. (I Corinthians 3:6-7) When we are faithful to focus on our relationship with Christ through the truth of His Word, and to minister those truths to others, God will provide the reproduction of that truth in the lives of others. Those who are faithful to reproduce their walk with Christ in others, and teach them to teach others, will also receive a reward at the judgment seat of Christ. (I Thessalonians 2:19-20)
