Our Youth Pastor

1991 was a pivotal year for John Wright. He had just graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BA in Criminal Justice, married the woman of his dreams, and was pursuing his lifelong plan of becoming a law enforcement officer. Then, at the age of 22, John met and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

As John submitted himself to the teaching of God′s Word through discipleship, his life′s focus shifted from a career to ministering the Word of God. Since then, John has been active in ministry, discipling believers, counseling pre-marital couples, and preaching the Word. In 1998, God led John and his family to Panama where John spent a year serving as youth pastor of the Iglesia Bíblica Panamá.

Today, John serves as the youth pastor for the Kansas City Bible Church and works for the Department of Homeland Security. John and his wife, Cheri, have two children, Jordan and Jesse.
